Synopsis

Gates and Morris attend to an elderly man injured in a street assault. Sam’s sister arrives without warning. A disagreement arises between Brenner and Dubenko as they treat a mother believed to be suffering from advanced cancer. Dr. Morgenstern returns to the emergency room to aid a former mentor now gravely ill.
