Synopsis

Amidst the overwhelming joy and heartbreak of their newborn’s fight for life, Abby and Luka are taken aback by a sudden arrival – Abby's mother, Maggie. Elsewhere, Sam grapples with the looming possibility of criminal charges, while Neela learns that Tony Gates will be joining the ER as an intern. A welcome return sees Morris reinstated, though Weaver finds herself facing a demotion.
