Carol made a conscious effort to ease the momentum of her burgeoning relationship with Helen. Elsewhere, and against Beverly’s better judgment, Sean persuaded Matt to read the script for their upcoming show. The situation shifted unexpectedly when an enthusiastic Matt expressed a desire to be cast in one of the roles, a prospect that did not meet with approval from either Sean or Beverly.
