Synopsis

A sense of anticipation hung in the air, thick and heavy as the dust motes dancing in the dim light. The transaction was imminent: coin for arms. Don Jesús, however, harbored reservations. A shadow of doubt crossed his face as he proposed they depart before the shipment arrived, a silent plea for caution against an unseen risk.
