I’ve watched countless television series, but this one stands out as the most shocking in its depiction of questionable behavior and explicit content. To illustrate just how far it goes: A father has three children—a gay son, a lesbian daughter, and a straight daughter. The gay son seeks intimacy with a friend who claims to be bisexual and engages in sexual activity with him. It’s then revealed that the friend's father is also gay and desires the same young man. Ultimately, both the son and his father have sex with this gay boy. To add another layer of complexity, the son’s bisexual friend also has a sexual encounter with the gay boy's sister, who identifies as straight. So, in essence, he sleeps with both the brother and sister, while his father only engages with the brother. This is just how deeply disturbing and perverse the show gets. There are other same-sex relationships portrayed too, including instances of group sex and infidelity. What’s particularly troubling is that these characters are school-aged teenagers, not adults. They're all affluent kids who seem to spend their time partying, drinking, and smoking. The series lacks any real plot or narrative development. There’s an excessive amount of sexual content, with a significant focus on gay encounters—it almost feels like a toned-down version of gay pornography. Watching it with family would likely be uncomfortable for viewers who are heterosexual. It seems as though this show was conceived by someone young and overly interested in sex. I sincerely hope that the characters don’t represent reality in Spain, because they're all disgustingly wealthy, spoiled, and lacking in morals. There isn’t a single likeable or relatable character in this perverse and awful program. Netflix continues to support this low-quality series while canceling shows of genuine value, such as "The OA."
