Synopsis

Colin completed his portfolio and prepared for the presentation of his work. Naima felt a thrill of anticipation upon receiving a letter informing her of an upcoming visit from her cousin, Farrukh. Ethel, meanwhile, read the fortunes of Dot and Tom from a spread of playing cards. For Dot, she foresaw the arrival of a man of shadow, though not Charlie or Nick, while around Tom, she saw him enveloped by women pleading for his attention.
