Synopsis

Detective Sergeant West began the investigation into the break-in. Arthur and Lou reported that the club funds, the post office account book, some jewelry, and Lou’s watch were missing. Later, Arthur told Pauline that staging the burglary was the only solution he could conceive for resolving the issue with the Christmas club money; however, he maintained that he had not taken Lou's watch.
