Synopsis

Den departs the church before the service concludes. Michelle informs Arthur that she cannot proceed with the wedding, and he gently escorts her home. Upon arriving, Simon attempts to lift Lofty’s spirits, but the young man insists on solitude and ultimately breaks down in tears. Michelle then apologizes to Pauline, declaring her love for Vicki's father and stating she will refuse any marriage that does not unite them.
