Synopsis

The cab pulled up in the pre-dawn light, delivering Den back just as Angie was finishing her cover story for Sharon – a claim that he was walking Roly. Sharon, already in a foul temper, took it out on them both. John Fisher appeared shortly after, early in his day off, to retrieve his remaining equipment. He’d been preoccupied with worry about Angie since the night before, and he likely just wanted to ensure she was alright.
