Synopsis

Before the Christmas season arrived, Dot learned of Charlie’s decision to depart. Meanwhile, Kelvin made his parents aware of his resolve to leave home, for good. Arthur, consumed by deep despair, sequestered himself within the allotment shed until Pete, with considerable effort, persuaded him to emerge.
