Synopsis

A glimmer of hope reignited for Blake when Franklin, a key witness, confessed to having been paid by Alexis to falsify his testimony. However, Franklin subsequently appeared in court in a state of intoxication, rendering him incapable of answering any questions. Incensed by the drunken witness, the judge ruled in favor of Ben, compelling Blake to forfeit a quarter of the family estate. He vowed to appeal the decision and resolved to find the enigmatic woman who held the key to his exoneration.
