Synopsis

Fallon’s physicians attribute her paralysis to a psychological origin. To thwart her impending marriage to Adam, Alexis entices Kirby with a job in Paris. When that scheme falters, Alexis reveals to Kirby that her mother has long been institutionalized for criminal behavior. Kirby had believed her mother deceased.
