Panic seized Jane as she desperately sought Owen, who had vanished after witnessing her kiss Grayson moments before their wedding. Luke informed her that the old iteration of Jane—a restless spirit—had returned to the earthly plane, capable of inhabiting any body, perhaps even Owen’s. Jane embodied a father fighting for his eight-year-old son, battling T-cell Lymphoma, whose life-saving medication had been abruptly withdrawn by a pharmaceutical company. Simultaneously, Kim accepted the case of a
