Synopsis

A creeping conviction took hold of Snotlout that his life was ebbing away. He relinquished Hookfang to Gustav, convinced his time had come. But a sudden, inexplicable recovery restored him to health, and he promptly reclaimed his dragon. Seeing this, Gustav resolved to acquire a dragon of his own and seek admission to the academy, regardless of whether they welcomed him.
