Cha Jin-man finds himself disliking the ingrained practices of Teacher Kim, particularly the decision to send everyone away from Doldam Hospital, with the exception of Lee Seon-ung and Dong-hwa, to the trauma center.
A shadow fell over the trauma center with the loss of one patient, quickly followed by the arrival of another in critical condition. Elsewhere, at Doldam Hospital, a child sought out Teacher Kim.
The wounded were being hurried to Doldam Hospital. A-reum was left to manage the emergency room alone, when a sudden disturbance erupted from a group of unruly patients.
A frantic surge of patients floods the emergency room as surgeons battle within the operating rooms. Doldam Hospital descends into turmoil with the disclosure of the gunman’s identity.
The collapse of an old building, resulting in injuries to several people, prompts the dispatch of a disaster medical support team to the location.
News of a second collapse reached Doldam Hospital, yet the building remained choked with the injured. Teacher Kim, without hesitation, abandoned his own affairs and made his way to the scene.
Go Gyeong-suk remains steadfast in her pursuit of justice regarding her son’s death. She proposes a clandestine arrangement designed to expose Jin-man, but Teacher Kim vehemently objects to the plan.
Jin-man remained without a solution to the director’s office intrusion, and the failure deepened the damage to his standing. Whispers of past indiscretions began to circulate, further eroding his reputation.
Gang Dong-ju's return to Doldam Hospital sparked considerable reaction within the trauma center, his usual unorthodox suggestions once again causing a ripple of discussion.
Eun-jae performed an emergency operation on a patient without significant injury, all while being required to assist in surgery for someone severely wounded.
The injured, fleeing the reach of the forest fire, poured into Doldam Hospital. But the trauma center lay deserted; the staff were engaged in a boycott against Dong-ju.
The fire crept closer, a menacing presence poised to engulf Doldam Hospital. It was only after the last patient had been safely evacuated that the staff discovered Teacher Kim was missing.
