Synopsis

Joy Fluker recounts the harrowing tale of a mother compelled by the leader of her religious group to withhold food from her fifteen-month-old son for failing to utter "amen" after a prayer. Fluker also shares her own experiences of living under her mother's guidance within the confines of House of Prayer.
