Synopsis

Alexa expresses a deep weariness at witnessing her mother, Jen, consistently make poor choices. Following a second cervical cancer diagnosis, Jen was initially told she had only four to six years to live, yet she steadfastly refuses chemotherapy. Compounding this, Alexa describes her mother as an alcoholic who persists in drinking despite knowing it is detrimental to her health. Jen acknowledges her alcoholism and expresses a desire for a fresh start. However, she also confesses to a lack of com
