Synopsis

Mia and Kiki describe their thirty-year-old brother, Forrest, as residing in their late grandmother's house, within a room they’ve dubbed “the cave.” They say he exists in squalor, refusing to leave the dwelling, remaining unemployed, and neglecting his financial obligations. Mia and Kiki attribute this to their mother, Lesli, who they believe inadvertently enables Forrest’s condition by providing him with sustenance and money.
