Synopsis

Dana recounts that her son Chas, once a diligent student, accomplished athlete, and devoted to his mother, now confronts five felony charges. While in police custody, the seventeen-year-old absconded, sparking an eight-hour manhunt. Dana expresses her fear and grief at the possibility of him spending a decade behind bars. Chas states his ambition is centered on financial gain, vowing to work relentlessly to escape their neighborhood. He acknowledges the gravity of his situation, yet insists, “If
