Synopsis

Opie worries her friend Shane is living precariously, and she dreads the inevitable phone call informing her of his death. She recounts how Shane's alcohol abuse has resulted in injuries, leaving his face a bruised and swollen mess. Shane acknowledges occasional mishaps while drinking, but insists he doesn't understand his own compulsion. Will he ever discover the reason behind his dependence?
