Synopsis

Liz and Jim, Nic's parents, assert that their sixteen-year-old son is deeply entangled in a serious drug problem. They allege he stole seventy-five thousand dollars' worth of gold from their safe and squandered it entirely on substances. However, Liz insists her husband bears responsibility for their son’s predicament. She accuses Jim of narcissism and misogyny, characterizing his parenting as rooted in intimidation and abuse, which she believes pushed Nic toward drug use. Jim vehemently rejects
