Synopsis

At fourteen, Noelle was a force of disruption. Her behavior had spiraled into a dangerous pattern: bringing illicit substances into the house, committing theft, and even damaging property. A stolen car, carelessly backed into a neighbor's mailbox, was but one example of her escalating recklessness. The strain had become unbearable for her stepfather, who ultimately chose to leave, seeking refuge from the constant turmoil of living under her roof.
