Synopsis

Amanda’s mother and sister describe her as a severe alcoholic, a woman who has come close to death on multiple occasions and now requires a pacemaker due to the damage her drinking has inflicted. Her father allows her to reside with him, a concession born of the understanding that she would otherwise face homelessness.
