Synopsis

Sonya maintains she has no recollection of deliberately starving her three children or denying them shelter. They, however, recall a childhood marked by hardship, describing conditions as appalling. One of the children even had to secretly bring food into the house to nourish their siblings, a routine that abruptly ended when Sonya packed her belongings and departed.
