Synopsis

Anika, a bright child who excelled academically and once performed on the violin at Carnegie Hall, now lives as a homeless woman. Her mother recounts a troubling history of behavioral problems, a stark contrast to Anika's early promise, and describes her now as an unfit mother at the age of thirty-one.
