Synopsis

On Dr. Phil’s show, guests recount stories of being deceived by a "catfish"—someone who fabricates an online identity to ensnare individuals in romantic relationships. Devon describes falling deeply in love with a man named David, whom she encountered online. For nearly three years, they meticulously planned a shared future, yet remained strangers. They conversed daily for hours, exchanging countless messages and photographs, but each attempt to arrange a meeting was met with a new postponement.
