Synopsis

Erin recounts that when she was eight years old, her stepfather, whom she called "Mr. Dave," initiated a pattern of sexual abuse. She also alleges witnessing him assault her friends. Despite informing her mother, Lisa, of these incidents – a claim Lisa vehemently denies – the abuse persisted until, three years later, Erin confided in a teacher. Mr. Dave was subsequently arrested and is currently incarcerated. Lisa was convicted of failing to protect her daughter from sexual abuse and served thir
