The initial run of episodes had some issues, but it was generally well-made. The second season, centered on a different medical professional, didn't fare as well. While Season 1 benefited from a strong ensemble cast, the lead actress in this new installment simply isn’t impressive; however, the Norwegian and American doctors were exceptionally well-cast. I honestly can’t understand how Mandy Moore was chosen for the role—it felt like a really poor decision. Even the doctor featured in this season seemed to be pulled directly from a Lifetime movie. In contrast, Season 1 actually made me appreciate Alec Baldwin's performance. If you’re willing to push past the first three episodes, it does improve, and Episode 5 of Season 2 was truly outstanding. I would rate Season 1 a 7 out of 10, while Season 2 earned a 4 out of 10 for its early portion, rising close to a 7 out of 10 for the latter half. I’m inclined to watch a third season.
