Synopsis

Naked men bathed in cerulean light. A February wind whips through Ikebukuro. Inside a tanning salon within a larger building, men clad in pale tan suits perspire, generating an atmosphere that evokes a faraway, tropical land. They close their eyes, murmuring, "Tanning is vitality." Their thoughts are a tangle of dwindling careers, distant wives, and uncertain tomorrows. What do they hope to gain by darkening their skin in this place?
