The Yamanote Line, a celebrated loop encircling Tokyo, offers a remarkably swift journey yet reveals a constantly shifting cityscape with each stop. Increasingly, people are choosing to explore it on foot or by bicycle, seeking a more intimate experience of the city. For this project, we too walked the 35-kilometer route, spending three days tracing its path.
