Synopsis

A botanical garden, nestled in the heart of Tokyo, provides a setting for contemplation. Though many find little of note during the winter months, some venture there seeking something specific – a resonance with their own life's transitions, perhaps, or a poignant appreciation for the beauty of withering. Others simply sit on benches, observing the trees, engaging with the starkness of winter's embrace. What lies within that gaze? We spent three days in its company.
