Synopsis

The setting is a steep incline, "Nozokizaka," in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. It’s a slope so sheer that its base remains hidden from view. A diverse stream of people traverses this single incline: those finishing late shifts, children heading home from school, and others engaged in rigorous training. In April, as a new chapter of my life commenced, I spent three days gazing at the slope, where cherry blossoms danced in the breeze.
