Synopsis

Each evening, a coffee cart appears along the national highway in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture. Its sole offering is coffee, a simple cup priced at four hundred yen. Yet, a steady stream of customers keeps returning. Businessmen passing home from work, women who have returned to care for aging parents – they all seek refuge here for a cup of coffee. Behind the cart, two brothers in their seventies maintain the tradition their father established nearly fifty years ago. They listen patiently
