Synopsis

Within a major hospital in Kamakura, a city south of Tokyo, a convenience store offers round-the-clock service to doctors, nurses, patients, and their families. A nurse, weary after an emergency operation, purchased a small indulgence for herself. A patient, seeking distraction, bought over ten books to fill the hours. And an on-call doctor sought a jolt of energy in the pre-dawn hours. Despite the widespread practice of staying home during the state of emergency, the hospital remained bustling.
