Doc adjusted his spectacles, peering at the peculiar contraption before him. Sproingo Boingo, the toy he’d been tasked with repairing, lay twisted and forlorn. The incident – a daring leap from the tower for the Wicked King during a rain-swept competition – had clearly taken its toll. The King, witnessing the damage, felt a pang of guilt.
