Synopsis

Martin found himself perpetually burdened with responsibilities when Louisa began taking on her sixth-year sailing students. The weight of it all seemed to settle squarely on his shoulders: collecting James from nursery each afternoon, a task often complicated by the unpredictable demands of his surgical schedule. He was frequently late, left holding the metaphorical baby when Louisa had to set sail.
