Synopsis

Having spent six months weathering the solitude of the Mojave Desert in 2004—a retreat taken after losing custody of her children in Texas—April Pitzer, age thirty, felt prepared to confront her life and return home. Yet, when shadows from her past resurfaced, the mother of two vanished without a trace.
