Synopsis

Guy Fieri journeys across the nation in pursuit of comforting, homemade fare. He discovers in Charlotte, North Carolina, a beloved eatery specializing in chicken and dumplings; in Providence, Rhode Island, a diner serving a local favorite known as Johnnycake; and in San Jose, California, a restaurant born from a garage, crafting burgers, ketchup, and fries entirely from scratch.
