Synopsis

He journeyed west, seeking the sun-kissed shores of California. In Culver City, Gene Simmons of Kiss made an unexpected appearance at a local eatery, serving up authentic Hawaiian fare. A short drive brought him to Garden Grove, where a family-run Mexican restaurant offered exceptional tamales and traditional beef chamorro. Further along the coast, in Monterey, a quirky seafood grill served fresh oysters and a vibrant pasta-seafood combination.
