I consider this TV series among my all-time favorites, and it might even be one of the greatest ever produced. The performances, storytelling, and storyline are exceptionally crafted and distinctive. However, the high standards set by the initial episodes seem to lead some viewers to unfairly scrutinize later seasons. I believe season 8 was the only disappointing one, largely because of how the narrative wraps up; it lacks a sense of closure. If you haven’t seen Dexter yet, I almost feel sorry for you, as I'd love to re-experience those early episodes. I can’t praise this show enough—it’s what sparked my passion for television.
