The show had potential; if it were condensed into a film, my reaction might have been different. However, expanding the story across an entire series ultimately made it feel drawn out and exhausting. I was hoping to enjoy it more. While there are commendable performances and it’s not often that a program explores such intriguing ideas, the execution falls short. It merely skims over the surface for ten hours before suddenly changing direction at the conclusion instead of providing resolutions to the questions raised. It could still be worth watching if you're okay with that approach, but don't anticipate it living up to what’s presented in the initial episodes. For those intrigued by the underlying ideas, I believe a direct examination of the source material would be more rewarding.
