This show has really captured my attention; I’ve already seen it twice, and plan to watch it repeatedly. The visuals are outstanding. A particularly nice touch is the recurring feature of a close-up on an insect at the start of each episode. The connections between the characters feel genuine and are handled with great care. The narrative develops effectively. I find myself laughing and crying throughout nearly every installment. Every character feels fully realized and interesting, and the performances are superb. It’s hard to believe Mackenzie Crook hasn't produced any other shows like this one.
