This season brings a fresh wave of regional rivalry to the competition! The familiar teams – Costeños, Cafeteros, Antioqueños, Vallecaucanos, Cachacos, and Santandereanos – are back, but they’ll be joined by four exciting newcomers representing the Amazon, Llanos, Tolima Grande, and Pasto regions. Originally, plans included even more representation with Boyacá and a combined Chocó/Isleños team, but logistical constraints ultimately narrowed the field to ten distinct regional squads. And in a shake-up of tradition, each team now consists of just four competitors – two men and two women – promising an even more intense battle for victory.
