My fiance had a harder time with the dialect than I did, having been there myself; as a result, I ended up doing quite a bit of explaining. Because of that, she didn’t find it nearly as funny as I do, or apparently as others seem to. To be honest, she has trouble understanding any accent that isn't Spanish, so for most viewers, it should only take one episode to get into. The thing is, I grew up in Chicago and she’s from Guatemala, but we both laughed until we cried. This humor transcends location; anyone will likely recognize its comedic brilliance right away. Don’t skip this because some reviews say it's exclusive to the UK—it’s easy to appreciate and genuinely hilarious for everyone.
