Synopsis

In a country house, the body of Martha Balke lies still. For Detective Derrick, the circumstances appear straightforward: her husband, Alfred, stands to inherit a vast fortune, along with the opportunity to be with Roswitha, his young lover. Yet, as Martha's twin sister, Johanna, returns from the United States to Munich, Derrick finds a potential key to unlocking the truth. A fleeting observation suggests a path toward identifying the killer.
