Synopsis

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.” Following the discovery of his impotence, Roman implores his wife, Hanka, to seek another man. She complies with reluctance, but Roman, despite his earlier pronouncements, is consumed by jealousy. He spies upon her and learns of her affair, resolving to take his own life – unaware that Hanka was, in truth, ending the relationship.
