Shep received the Principle of the Year award, an honor quickly overshadowed by escalating tensions. Clare grew increasingly frustrated with Shep’s persistent mistreatment of Connor. After she and their friends intervened on Connor’s behalf, they were all given detention. The situation escalated further when, irritated by Connor tapping his pencil, Alli was spat upon.
