Synopsis

The suddenness of his father’s departure was compounded by a devastating car accident; he didn’t survive. A wave of unexpected relief washed over Craig as the school year drew to a close, following the news. Others seemed to expect a deeper sorrow, a more visible grief. Meanwhile, Paige, Spinner, Hazel, and Jimmy were all vying for the coveted titles of Luau King and Queen. Without much thought, Craig entered himself and Ashley into the competition.
