Synopsis

After months of shy exchanges by email, twelve-year-old Emma’s new crush, Jordan, is finally coming to town. As if that weren’t enough excitement, it happens to be the very same night as her mother's high school reunion. Following a good deal of deliberation and some encouraging words from Caitlin, her mom’s friend, Emma resolves to seize the opportunity, keeping her plans entirely secret—even from her closest friends.
