Synopsis

Skippers, battling sub-zero temperatures, forty-foot waves, and a vast arctic ice pack, have begun reinforcing their vessels with Opilio crab. As they race toward St. Paul harbor for unloading, the 250,000 square mile ice pack presents a formidable obstacle. They plug their boats with the crustaceans, a desperate measure as they strive to reach their destination.
